I thought I’d better post something because it’s best not to forget momentous occasions like this, right?
Ethan is only 10 months and 24 days but he went out with his Daddy (who had to work in the afternoon) to pick me up hot cakes & coffee from McDonald’s in the morning. It was a beautiful start to the day to eat breakfast in bed with my two favourite boys 🙂
I was presented with my gift…
and then proceeded to get ready for a visit to Bunnings & an afternoon in the garden with my very own Daddy (who brought me 10 long stemmed red roses because it was my very first mother’s day!) whilst my mother kindly baby sat Ethan (ain’t mothers the best??) 🙂
Ethan painted this little masterpiece for his nanna…
which she loved.
And after gardening, we spent the evening chowing down on roast lamb and vegetables at my parents’ house.
We’ll see Ethan’s MahMah on Wednesday and she’ll be scoring this unique number…
because Ethan is a miniature gourmand and a HUGE crustacean lover 😉
My completely commercialised present is currently at our local post office – refills of my signature fragrances from Jo Malone! My husband & son are the best!!
